Unshaadi began with a simple frustration: the people we love most kept finding themselves on dating apps that were not built for what they actually wanted. Quick matches, endless filters, decisions made in seconds. The thing they were searching for — a real, considered, lifelong partnership — was structurally absent from the experience.
Our belief
The best marriages we know were not the result of optimisation. They came from being introduced — by a friend, a relative, a colleague — to someone who had been considered first, then chosen. Someone with context, with skin in the game.
We wanted to bring that energy back, but with the rigour and reach that modern professionals need. So we built an old-fashioned matchmaking practice with a contemporary spine: a small senior team, a long memory, and the time to do this properly.

The team
Unshaadi is a small, deliberately senior team. Our matchmakers come from backgrounds in psychology, executive search and private client work. Every member is paired with one matchmaker who stays with them from application to engagement — no hand-offs, no junior staff.
